      <content:encoded><![CDATA[]]><![CDATA[<p>Have you considered referring your financially disadvantaged patients with perinatal depression for <b>free counselling services</b> through ATAPS?</p> <p>ATAPS funding is available up until 30 June 2012.</p> <p>The advantages of a referral through the ATAPS program as opposed to the Medicare-funded program are as follows:</p> <ul> <li>ATAPS provides 12 sessions with a psychologist instead of 10 sessions via the Medicare-funded program</li> <li>There are no gap payment for ATAPS - whereas there is often one associated with Medicare-funded program</li> <li>ATAPS provides a maximum 18 sessions per calendar year. Medicare-funded program provides a maximum 16 sessions per calendar year. </li> </ul> <p><b><i>Not signed on for ATAPS? Although a copy may be requested to be sent to the hospital from a pathology provider or given to the woman to bring to the visit, there is the possibility that are not available at this visit.To allow midwives and/or staff to retrieve these results quickly, we ask that your Pathology Provider details are <b>noted on the woman&#8217;s yellow card.</b> </p>]]></content:encoded>
