The overarching aim of clinical audit is to improve service user outcomes by improving professional practice and the general quality of services delivered.
There are a number of reasons why clinical audit is an important activity. Clinical audit can address quality issues systematically and explicitly, providing reliable information and can confirm the quality of clinical services and highlight the need for improvement. Completion of the NPS clinical audit will earn you 40 Category 1 professional development points and QPI incentives for your practice.
