New ANSC GP Manual and ANSC Program
Information brochure
The new 2011 ANSC GP Manual will soon be available, as well as a new ANSC Program patient information brochure. All ANSC GPs will be sent a letter asking them to advise CSGPN of their preferred format for their manual ie. hard or CD copy. Also enclosed will be a copy of the new ANSC Program Information brochure and a request to also advise us if you would like additional copies for your practice.

ANSC Educational activities
Clinical Tutorials
Over the past months we have held two High Risk Clinical Tutorials, including (for the first time) one at Canterbury Hospital. Feedback has been very positive and interest in attending these events in the future is huge. We anticipate that another event will be held later in the year. As these events have limited attendees, only those GPs who have expressed interest and have a completed Criminal Record Checks (CRC) will be informed when the next one will be held. Contact me for more information.

Active Learning Module
The planned ALM has been re-scheduled for October 10, 24, and 31. The planned theme is “Late pregnancy and beyond“ covering induction, perineal trauma and newborn/paediatrics. This event is restricted to maximum 30 GPs. If you are interested in attending, please let me know on Ph: 8752 4906.

New tool to access ANSC website page
From the “Programs” menu there are new drop-down boxes to access information on the ANSC page. This menu makes it easier to locate information relating to the ANSC program. The format is very similar to that of the ANSC GP Manual.

If you have any feedback regarding the ANSC website page, please let me know.
