Would you like to establish or belong to an MHPN Network?
The Mental Health Professionals Network (MHPN) is a not-for-profit organisation contracted by the Commonwealth Department of Health and Ageing to promote, develop and support sustainable, interdisciplinary collaboration in the local primary mental healthcare sector.
Since February 2009 MHPN has established over 450 interdisciplinary mental health networks across Australia and the professional networking platform MHPN Online. GP Divisions are collaborating with MHPN to provide networks with additional support.
Members of MHPN networks benefit from expanding their referral networks, broadening their knowledge of local service providers and participating in professional development activities and peer support. MHPN also offers interactive webinars and forums on mental health related topics with an interdisciplinary focus.
Participating GPs may also be able to register for Small Group Learning with the RACGP to gain 40 category 1 points.
